INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever are one win away from their first trip to the WNBA Finals.
Tamika Catchings had 22 points and 11 rebounds to help the Fever beat the Detroit Shock 75-65 on Friday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Shock beat the Fever 2-0 in the first round of last year's playoffs on the way to their second championship in four years. Now, Detroit must win at home on Sunday to have a chance to repeat.
Catchings said the pressure is on the Fever, not the Shock.
"We need to make sure we take care of business," she said.
