Plucked: Oregon Steals Fullerton's Horton

(CBS) LOS ANGELES After years of rumors, Cal State Fullerton coach George Horton has finally decided to move on from Fullerton.

Horton is expected to be announced as the head coach for the Oregon Ducks before Saturday's football game between Oregon and Houston.

26 years after terminating their baseball program, the Ducks wanted a big time coach to give itself a chance to compete in one of the toughest conferences in the country.

Horton lead the Titans to a National Championship in 2004.

In 11 seasons at Fullerton, Horton won over 450 games.

Now the search begins for Fullerton to find a replacement.
