Katherine Blake

Katherine Blake joined the CBS 11/TXA 21 news team from sister CBS Television station KCNC in Denver.

Prior to that, she spent three years in Los Angeles at KCBS and KCAL- TV. Katherine also has worked at the CBS affiliate in San Diego, where she covered everything from California’s energy crisis to the San Diego Chargers. In addition, she was a reporter/anchor at the Orange County News Channel.

Katherine holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii and completed her graduate work at California State University – Fullerton.

Her first job as a journalist was at California’s Orange County Register.

Katherine was raised in Michigan as part of a large family, and she enjoys spending time with her five siblings and 11 nieces and nephews.

A huge sports fan, Katherine spends her spare time writing, working out, and golfing.
