Rowand Could Command $10 Million A Year

Delco Times - Aaron Rowand was compared to Eric Byrnes when he first went to arbitration and the news of the Diamondbacks' outfielder's extension is good news for the Phillies centerfielder.

Byrnes signed a three-year, $10 million extension, which is in the neighborhood of what Rowand can expect.

“Yeah, I’ve heard his name a lot,” Rowand said. “I know him well, too. A buddy of mine who transferred from UCLA to (Cal State) Fullerton was best friends with him at UCLA, so I got to know him that way.”
