Artists to exhibit kinetic sculptures
Four contemporary artists, who all use kinetic sculptures to comment on human nature, will present an exhibit, “Humana Ex Machina: Kinetic Commentaries on the Nature of Being,” Aug. 25 through Sept. 29 at Cal State Fullerton.
The title, which translates as human from the machine, was taken from a literary and theatrical term referring to an unlikely resolution of a tangled plot. An opening reception, honoring artists Arthur Ganson, Gregory Barsamian, Bernie Lubell and Jim Jenkins, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 25 in the Main Art Gallery.
The CSF Visual Arts Center is at 800 N. State College Blvd. Information: 657-278-2434.
