Announcement: Van Ginkel wedding

Shane and Sarah Van Ginkel were married June 23, 2007, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Shane is the son of Stan and Sheryl Van Ginkel and grandson of George and Faye Howard, all of Canyon Lake. Shane, who has lived in Canyon Lake since age 8, graduated from Temescal Canyon High School and Cal State Fullerton and is currently a physical education teacher at Citrus Hills Intermediate School in Corona.

Sarah, a dental hygienist in Hemet, is the daughter of Crista Braun of Catherdral City and Gary Meeks of Yuma, Arizona, and grew up in Blythe.

The couple purchased their first home in Canyon Lake, where they now live after enjoying a tropical honeymoon on the island of Kauai.
