TUSTIN UNIFIED SCHOOLS IN IRVINE GET NEW ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS


The Tustin Unified School District announced the following new assistant principals for the 2007-08 school year. The school year begins Sept. 5.


Hicks Canyon – Wendy McGraw. She has worked as a Reading First literacy coach in the Anaheim Elementary School District, Title I facilitator specialist and elementary teacher in Florida and Oceanside. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in education from Central Michigan University.


Myford Elementary – Amy Fedderly. She has taught second and third grade at Myford School and served as an elementary teaching assistant principal at Myford. Prior to joining Tustin Unified, Fedderly was an elementary teacher in Palm Springs. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in educational administration from Chapman University.


Pioneer Middle School – Jennifer Smith. She has served as an elementary teaching assistant principal, Title I teacher on special assignment and elementary teacher at Beswick Elementary School. She has a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Cal State Fresno, and a master’s degree in education from Cal State Fullerton.


BOARD MEETING AUG. 27


The school board will meet next at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at the district administration center, 300 South C. St.
