Those who followed Cal State Fullerton broadcast journalism major Camaron Abundes on the KTLA Channel 5 contest for best college broadcaster (she placed second) will be happy to learn Abundes has accepted a position as a television news reporter for KWES in Midland, Texas. She joins two other CSF grads, Stephanie Miranda and Jacqueline Sit.

Plans are revving up on campus for the university’s 50th anniversary celebration, starting Sept. 14 with the annual “Concert Under the Stars” Following the concert, there will be a series of special open house programs presented by each college on Sept. 15. One such program will be the new Titan Multimedia Center in the lower level of the Pollak Library.
