Beth Evans
Lecturer in Broadcasting, Cal State Fullerton

Ms. Evans teaches broadcast journalism and entertainment studies classes. Prior to joining the faculty at CSUF in 2002, she spent more than 18 years working in the field of television and broadcast journalism. Most recently she worked as a producer for E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles, where she produced numerous shows including E! True Hollywood Story: Martha Stewart, E! True Hollywood Story: I Dream of Jeannie, the 10 part mini-series Royalty A-Z, E! News Specials and Assignment E! with Leeza Gibbons. Ms. Evans spent almost two years working in the newsroom at E! as a field producer covering events like the Academy Awards, the prime-time Emmys and numerous premieres and junkets as well as film festivals in Venice, Italy, and Deauville, France. She also has skill in front of the camera with more than 10 years experience working as a television news anchor and reporter for numerous stations including the Orange County Newschannel (OCN), KTTV (Fox 11 News Los Angeles), KDOC (Anaheim, CA) and WMGT (NBC affiliate in Macon, Georgia). She holds a master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, in communications with an emphasis in journalism and a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in communications.
