Mark your calendar - Heart to Heart Foundation activities

The Heart to Heart Foundation, established by Peter and Jayne Stanyon in memory of their daughters, Kirsty and Hollie, gathered a team of nearly 40 to participate in the Orange County Donate Life Run/Walk at Cal State Fullerton on April 28. The annual event drew hundreds who were there to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation and featured a 5K path that wound its way through the campus and the adjacent Fullerton Arboretum. All proceeds from the event benefited the Donate Life California Awareness campaign. Heart to Heart is already putting a team together for 2008. Debby Gegnon, Publicity Chair for Heart to Heart, recently announced that its annual fundraiser, “Taste of Paradise” is set for Saturday, September 22, at the Canyon Lake Lodge. “This year, we have reserved the entire Lodge just for the Heart to Heart event, so there will be more than enough room for all of those attending this most important fundraiser,” says Debby.
