AQUATICS
Anaheim Aquatics Association is a seasonal and yearround swim program for children ages 5 to 18. Workouts are 5 to 6:30 p.m. each weekday at Canyon High School’s pool, 220 S. Imperial Highway; 5:30 to 7 p.m.; each weekday at Katella High School’s pool, 2200 E. Wagner St. and at Anaheim and Savanna High’s pool, 301 N. Gilbert St. in Anaheim. The Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team (F.A.S.T.) is accepting registrations for our competitive swimming team, and is open to boys and girls of all ages and ability levels. Adult fitness swimming:
The Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team invites adults of all ages to join its masters swimming program, geared for swimmers, triathletes, and everyone who enjoys the benefits of swimming. Practices are held weekday mornings, evenings, and Saturday mornings at the Janet Evans Swim Complex in Fullerton. Swim lessons for adults are also offered year round and seasonal swim passes are also offered.

BASEBALL

The California Lumberjacks under-12 travel baseball team has been invited, to play in Cooperstown, New York on August 18. The team is playing in several tourneys and is seeking for sponsorships. The tournament cost for each player is $655.00, not including air fare. BASKETBALL
The Larry Drew Advanced Guard Academy is holding a training camp for players ages 11 to 18 from Aug. 12 to 17 at the Warrior Center in Cypress. The camp teaches specific fundamentals for the guard position. is a north county based competitive cheer team that travels locally to regional and national competitions. Members are ages 3 to 13 and consist of all levels of experience. Maximum also welcomes new additions to the coaching staff.

SOCCER

The JUSA Select Soccer Club announces tryouts for boys and girls ages 8 to 13 years. This is for the 2007-08 soccer season. Orange County Women’s Soccer League, which started in 1976 and is organized by volunteer players, is looking for players for leagues with divisions that range from over 18 to over 40.
