Bryan Beard Age: 19 College: USC Accomplishments: Two years ASB commissioner of spirit; three years varsity volleyball (one year captain); three years on Comedy Sports; one year community service employee for Irvine as Youth Action Team member; two years on Link Crew; one year as lead student on Link Advisory Board for Link Crew; two theater productions; two years scholar athlete; Heritage Award for academics in drama, history, English, literature and physics; four Spur Awards for citizenship; graduated with highest honors.
Person who has most inspired you in school: Flip Lenard has been a close friend and mentor who has played a key role in my journey into maturity. He’s the kind of teacher whose class you can’t leave because his lessons extend to every facet of life.

Amy Ganser

Amy Ganser Age: 17 College: Cal State Fullerton
Accomplishments: Member of dance ensemble and the choral music program (all four years); ASB commissioner of the arts; acted in two plays, three musicals; Spur Award; Heritage Award; dance co-captain; Irvine Singers officer.
Person who has most inspired you in school: Teachers assistant, Mrs. Griffin has inspired me everyday to be a better person. Her kind heart and positive attitude always makes me want to get involved, help other and try harder.

Sean Fischer

Sean Fischer Age: 18 College: Cal State Long Beach Accomplishments: Swimming: four years varsity; firstteam All-league; two years CIF qualifier; team captain four years; varsity water polo; performing arts: drum major of the marching band; officer in the chorale; principal cellist in orchestra; drummer in jazz ensemble I; Southern California Honor Choir participant; IUSD Honor Orchestra member; drum captain of drumline; lead roles in three musical productions.
Person who has most inspired you in school: My sister has inspired me to do all that I do. Because I saw what she could handle and accomplish, it encouraged me to get as involved as possible, and to strive for excellence in each area I pursue.

Rebecca Mason
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Rebecca Mason Age: 17 College: UC Berkeley Accomplishments: planned and organized four school-wide benefit concerts, four Unity Weeks; directed two student-produced plays (The Laramie Project and The Left Hand Singing); color guard captain; active member of National Charity League.
Person who has most inspired you in school: Throughout high school, Mr. Antenore has been my guiding light. He has taught me to be a committed member of the global community. I respect him because he leads by example and I realize that I have modeled my own leadership style after his. He earns people’s respect by first respecting them.
