AQUATICS
Water polo: Brea Olinda Aquatics is looking for junior high and elementary school students interested in learning to play water polo. Registration will be held at 7 p.m., June 19 at the Brea Olinda High pool. The program will take place twice a week. The Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team (F.A.S.T.) is accepting registrations for our competitive swimming team, and is open to boys and girls of all ages and ability levels. Adult fitness swimming: The Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team invites adults of all ages to join its masters swimming program, geared for swimmers, triathletes, and everyone who enjoys the benefits of swimming. Performance Baseball School: A 2007 summer camp will be run by Esperanza High baseball coach Mike Curran and staff of professional, college and high school coaches. The Larry Drew Advanced Guard Academy is holding a training camp for players ages 11 to 18 from Aug. 12 to 17 at the Warrior Center in Cypress. The camp teaches specific fundamentals for the guard position.

Fullerton High basketball coach Bill Czech is holding a basketball summer camp for boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 at the Fullerton High School gym. Anaheim Hills Youth Basketball Camp will take place June 18-22. Canyon High School boys basketball coach Nate Harrison will offer instruction to boys ages 8 to 15. Participants will be taught fundamentals, including footwork, dribbling, passing, shooting, and rebounding, as well as game rules and team play. The camp also includes individual contests and league games. All participants will receive T-shirts, and individual awards will be given to contest winners and all-camp performers. Cost is $150. Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball coaching staff is holding two basketball camps for elementary and high school boys. Camps run June 18 to 22 and July 9 to13.
