Services for Henderson set for today

Funeral services for former Cal State Fullerton basketball player Kevin Henderson will be held today at Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton.

Henderson, 43, died of natural causes last week.

The all-conference guard played three seasons (1983-86) and helped the Titans to a 50-42 record. Henderson led the

team in scoring during his junior and senior seasons, averaging 17.3 and 16.6 points, respectively.

He played briefly in the NBA after being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the third round of the 1986 draft. He also played with the Golden State Warriors.

Henderson played one season at Saddleback College, where he led the Gauchos in scoring at 13.7 points a game.
