MSU, Ole Miss advance to Sweet 16 of college baseball

The eight Super Regional hosts have been determined, and Mississippi State will be among those named by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee.
And there will be plenty of Super Regional tournament action on television during the coming weekend with ESPN's ever-growing family of networks providing the coverage.
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will all be televising games.
During a four-day period from June 8-11, there will be as many as 15 national broadcast windows appearing on the three ESPN networks.
Only three - the smallest number since the bracket expanded in 1999 - of the eight national seeds, advanced to the super regionals.
Two of the three qualifying SEC teams will begin play Friday.
Mississippi State (36-20 - who shocked the world by sweeping both the Tallahassee Regional and Florida State will host Clemson (41-21). The Tigers won the Myrtle Beach, S.C. Regional by easily knocking off host Coastal Carolina on Monday.
South Carolina (45-18) will play at North Carolina (51-12). The Gamecocks rallied past UNC-Charlotte 11-6 on Monday, scoring four runs in the bottom of the eighth to salt things away.
The other two Friday matchups will pit Texas A&M (48-17) at Rice (52-12) in a Texas tornado shoot out.
The Aggies downed Louisiana-Lafayette on Monday for its regional title while Rice ripped through TCU for its tournament trophy.
Oklahoma State (41-19) - who eliminated host Arkansas at Fayetteville over the weekend - will be at upstart Louisville (44-21), who won the Missouri Regional.
Though the host sites have been listed for Saturday's baseball menu, the host is yet to be determined in one of the regions.
Michigan, who upset top-ranked Vanderbilt 4-3 in 10 innings on Monday will play its Super Regional series at either Oregon St. or Virginia.
The host Cavaliers are hosting the Beavers today for the Charlottesville Region championship and the right to host a Saturday Super Reigonal.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Ole Miss (40-23), who breezed through the Oxford Regional, will travel to Tempe to meet PAC-10 powerhouse Arizona State (46-13). The Sun Devils also went undefeated in winning its regional.
UCLA (33-26) will take a short trip to face Cal St. Fullerton (36-23).
Cal-Irvine (43-15-1) will be at Wichita St. (53-20) in the other Saturday Super Reigonal opener.
The eight Super Regional winners will advance to the 61st College World Series which begins play Friday, June 15, at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha.
