Author Visits Irvine Campus: Immaculee Ilibagiza

Immaculee Ilibagiza

Immaculee Ilibagiza speaks Sept. 28 before an audience of more than 300 students, faculty and staff and community members at the Cal State Fullerton Irvine Campus. The author and founder of the Left to Tell Charitable Fund shared what it was like living in Rwanda in 1994, when she and seven other women spent 91 days hiding in a neighbor’s bathroom to avoid the mass murders going on in her country. She later fled her country and became a member of the United National Development Program.
