Cal State Fullerton’s Public Affairs Office last spring asked faculty
and staff about the ways in which they obtained news and information
about the university. Here are some of survey results, based on 147 responses:
The highest ranking news source is the university homepage, followed
by Inside Online, Inside Magazine, TITAN Magazine, Bulletin Board and
the news website.
The top story topics of interest are: employee impact issues, significant student accomplishments and calendar items (tied), in-depth problems/challenges the university faces and news on campus issues (such as campus growth) and profiles/features on faculty and staff.
Those who took the survey and submitted their names were entered to win an iPod. The winner was Debra Stewart, lecturer of music.
