Public Hearing Set for June 30 for Environmental Impact Report

What: Area residents are invited to attend a public hearing and make comments on a Draft Environmental Impact Report, which pertains to the 2003 Cal State Fullerton Master Development Plan — a framework for implementing university goals and programs by identifying needed facilities and improvements through the year 2010. The plan is designed to accommodate the projected increase in enrollment from 20,000 to 25,000 full-time-equivalent students. One full-time equivalent (FTE) equals 15 units of student course work and is the basis for allocating state funding to the university.

When: 6 p.m. Monday, June 30

Where: The Hetebrink Room in the university’s Titan Student Union

Public Comment: Comments may be made at the public hearing or submitted to the university through July 30. The Draft Environmental Impact Report is available for review through July 30 at two campus locations: Langsdorf Hall, Suite 806, and the Pollak Library, Reserve Book Room on the first floor. Comments may be sent to: Kim Apel, Cal State Fullerton Office of Facilities Management, Langsdorf Hall, Suite 806, 800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92834.
