This biting comedy takes a behind-the-scenes look at the writing of a television sitcom as a young woman gets the job as a co-writer amidst a sea of hungry men eager to rip her to shreds. Not suprisingly, her television world soon descends into a ferocious madness.

Theresa Rebeck is one of America’s premiere playwrights. Her plays include “Omnium Gatherum,” “Bad Dates,” “The Butterfly Collection,” “Loose Knit,” “Sunday on the Rocks,” and others. Her one-acts have been presented at Naked Angels, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Alice’s Fourth Floor, the Westbank, Manhattan Punchline and Double Image Theatre. A collection of her short plays, entitled Rebeck Revisited, ran for nine months at Theatre Neo in L.A. and was called one of the Ten Best Plays of 1999 by L.A. Weekly. Her collected plays have been published by Smith & Kraus. Film/television credits include “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Harriet the Spy,” “Brooklyn Bridge,” “Dream On,” and “NYPD Blues.”

The cast includes Chris Goss as Ed, Ira Heinichen as Ren, Carol Grisham as Belinda, Brian Turley as Bill, Mitra Anoushiravani as Sally, Christopher Manus as Steve, and Allison Au as Clara.

Designers are: Jessica Weibel scenic designer; Rachel Walker costume designer; Ryan Hood lighting designer; Leilani DiCato make-up designer and Jake Bray is sound designer.
