Background:

Russian-born pianist Mikhail Korzhev studied at Moscow Conservatoire College, where he performed extensively both as a soloist and with orchestra in Moscow’s most prestigious halls. In 1991, he was invited to the United States as a featured recitalist for the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. While in the US he auditioned and was admitted to University of Southern California, as a scholarship recipient, to study with Daniel Pollack. Since graduation he has performed with throughout the U.S. and Europe, and is a staff pianist with the Department of Music at California State University, Fullerton. His performances have received high critical acclaim by both local and foreign press.
