Program: |
Entitled “Songs to Morpheus,”
the duo’s program explores the realm of twilight, sleep
and dreams with songs by British, German, French and American
composers from the 17th to the 20th centuries. |

Background: |
With many opera and oratorio performances
to his credit, Seminatore’s professional engagements
have included solo, choral and opera appearances with the
Handel & Haydn Society, the Boston Early Music Festival,
the New England Bach Festival and as an apprentice artist
with the Santa Fe Opera. He has also been heard with the Glimmerglass,
Chautauqua, Dayton, Dortmund and Bremen opera companies, in
addition to numerous orchestras from the Cincinnati Philharmonia,
to the Orchestra of the Pfalztheater Kaiserlautern.
Lubin a piano faculty at the University of Oklahoma is a
graduate of Oberlin College and the Julliard School. As solo
pianist he has received prizes from the American Music Scholarship
Association, the Kosciuszko Foundation, the Piano Teachers
Congress of New York, the Three Rivers International Piano
Competition and the National Society of Arts and letters.
As collaborative pianist, he has performed throughout the
U.S. and Europe. |
