Background: |
Born in Buenos Aires, master guitarist Néstor
Benito has studied guitar since his early childhood. From
a very young age, Benito began playing at the most distinguished
concert halls in Argentina. He’s been awarded the Honor
of Merit by the Honduras Republic for “diffusing South
American music to the world.” In 1993 he recorded his
first CD entitled “Works” with compositions dedicated
to Benito by José Franchini and Eduardo Falú.
After the release of the CD, the American States Organization
sponsored him in television broadcasts with the philharmonic
orchestras of Berlin, New York and Mexico. His busy performance
schedule has taken him to contries including Germany, France,
Spain, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Uruguay.
”Music, which knows no boundaries except for quality,
has in Néstor Benito, a performer serving it with incomparable
honesty and singular brilliance "
