Cal State Fullerton Hosts ‘Celebrate You’ Event May 6

Cal State Fullerton’s Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Center and the Fibromyalgia Awareness National Network host “Celebrate You,” a free public program featuring a lecture, games and musical performance Sunday, May 6, as part of Fibromyalgia Day.

Highlight:
An experiential, interactive activity by Judith Westerfield, a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified clinical hypnosis and guided-imagery therapist, will be featured.
“We are delighted to have Judith join us for this special event in recognition of Fibromyalgia Awareness Day,” says C. Jessie Jones, director and founder of the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Center and professor of health science. “Judith will help attendees discover the core of who they are, apart from fibromyalgia and the limitations it can present, and celebrate what they have to offer.”
The presentation will be followed by a lunch social, with interactive games and a special live performance by National Christian Recording artist Pasquale Talarico.
