Discussion on Disagreement

Ethics Debated at CSUF Philosophy Symposium April 14-15

What:
The 41st annual Cal State Fullerton Philosophy Symposium focuses on “Disagreement in Ethics and Epistemology.” The two-day event is free and open to the public.

When:
April 14-15

Where:
Titan Student Union,
 Cal State Fullerton
800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, 92831

Why:
“America is increasingly divided by seemingly intractable disagreements about everything from abortion to global warming” said John K. Davis, CSUF associate professor of philosophy and symposium organizer. “This year's symposium is about disagreement: disagreement about what is true, about what is right, about how to live together.  Philosophers working in epistemology, ethics, and political philosophy have been increasingly focused on these topics, and our symposium will bring together some of the leading writers in these fields.”
