March 26 ‘Chalk Walk’ to Help Educators

What:
“Chalk Walk” at Cal State Fullerton features 1K and 3K walks, music, teacher recognition activities and fun for participants of all ages. The College of Education Alumni Chapter hosts the public event, with support from the Phi Delta Kappa Chapter. 

When:
Saturday, March 26
8 to 11 a.m.
1 and 3K walks begin at 9 a.m.

Cal State Fullerton, Education-Classroom Building
800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92831

Why:
Chalk Walk is designed to honor teachers and raise funds to support local educators. The money raised will go to the College of Education Alumni Chapter, Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association and Phi Delta Kappa Chapter to continue offering scholarships and grants for current and future educators to help offset their costs for school supplies and materials for their classrooms.

Sponsors:
Phi Delta Kappa International, a professional association of educators, and the Future Educators Association, a professional organization for students interested in careers in education.

About the Chapter:
The College of Education Alumni Chapter connects CSUF alumni, educators and the community at large to promote the advancement of the educational community. The chapter provides networking opportunities for educators, information on professional growth opportunities, and is a professional resource for peer assistance. 

Cost:
$5 to participate, donations also accepted

Free. Park in Lot I, east of Education-Classroom Building, east side of campus
