Mira Farka is an associate professor of economics and associate director of the university’s Institute for Economic and Environmental Studies. She has worked on Wall Street as a research consultant and as an economist with Deutsche Bank in New York, where she was responsible for designing economic and statistical models to forecast currency rates, stock returns and macroeconomic indicators.

Adrian R. Fleissig is a professor of economics and a research associate for the Institute for Economic and Environmental Studies. He has served as a member of the advisory board of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and has studied the impact its policies have on consumer behavior. He created a quarterly Southern California Leading Economic Indicator that is designed to pinpoint short-term trends in the regional economy.

Cal State Fullerton’s Mihaylo College of Business and Economics has been responsible for the administration of the SBA’s regional small-business development network for Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties since 2003.
