Alumnus to Discuss Boeing’s Next-Generation Systems

 “Innovative Capabilities of Boeing’s Next-Generation Net-Enabled Systems” is the topic of a Nov. 3 Technology Breakfast hosted by Cal State Fullerton’s College of Engineering and Computer Science and presented by ECS Affiliates.

Who:       
William J. Purpura (B.S. engineering ’76, M.S. engineering-mechanical ’79), a senior system engineer with Boeing’s Strategic Development and Experimentation organization, is the featured presenter. His work focuses on developing the next generation of Internet-enabled architectures and environments, as well as road maps for key technologies. He holds 13 U.S. patents, three international patents and one Boeing trade secret, has authored scores of papers and training courses, and has presented at national conferences. The CSUF graduate is a certified project management professional, certified professional engineer, and a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission registered investment adviser.
