CSF Philanthropic Foundation Welcomes Newest Board Members

Seven individuals have been named to the Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Foundation Board of Governors, including a retired state senator, business leaders, alumni and campus members.

The governors provide the university with expertise, fiduciary oversight and advocacy for enhancing the role that private giving plays in achieving the university’s educational mission.

The newest members of the foundation board are:

• Dick Ackerman, partner, Nossaman, LLP and a former state senator

• Robert M. Alvarado (B.A. communications ’87), vice president of marketing and ticket sales for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

• David D. Bowman, chair and professor of geological sciences

• Joseph Lopez, senior communications major and president of Associated Students Inc.

• John E. Miller, senior vice president for Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management

• Geoffrey S. Payne (B.A. business administration-finance ’80), president of Tahiti Partners Real Estate Development Corp. and a member of the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics Dean’s Advisory Board of Directors

• Verne Wagner (B.A. business administration-accounting ’77), a member of the CSUF Alumni Association Board of Directors and its past president

Alumna Annette E. Feliciani (B.A. business administration-finance ’80), president of AEF Systems Consulting Inc., chairs the board.
