Oct. 24, 2010 :: No. 24/pm
What:
What does it take to increase traffic to your web site? How can you outrank the competition when it comes to search engines? Family business leaders interested in growing their business with the web can learn tips and strategies from successful technology entrepreneur Steve Mihaylo at the Oct. 13 Cal State Fullerton Family Business Council program.
Who:
Steven G. Mihaylo is president of iMergent Inc. and former chair and CEO of Inter-Tel Inc., which he founded in 1969 shortly after graduating from Cal State Fullerton. In 2008, his record-setting $30 million gift to his alma mater led to the business college being named for him. This followed his initial gift of $4.5 million and the naming of the building now housing the college, Steven G. Mihaylo Hall. “Without my education at Cal State Fullerton, I wouldn’t be in a position to do what I’m doing,” Mihaylo has said. “I’ve always believed that the only way we can level the playing field for our young people … is to have a well-educated, well-informed society.”
