CSUF Event Features Film and Talks on Cultural Conflicts

Cal State Fullerton presents “Only a World Away,” a day of talks about diversity issues, such as racial differences, communication problems, perceptions, attitudes and awareness. The event is free and open to the public.

9 a.m.-9:30 p.m

Schedule:
9-9:45 a.m.: Keynote address by Lee Mun Wah, a Chinese American community therapist, diversity speaker, documentary filmmaker, performing poet, special education teacher and author
10 a.m.-noon: Wah will speak with students on “How to Have a Dialogue Across Cultures.”
1:30-5:30 p.m.: Wah to lead a talk with faculty and staff members on “Unlearning Racism.”
6:30-9:30 p.m.: Screening of “Last Chance for Eden,” a documentary about nine individuals discussing the issues of racism and sexism in the workplace
