Richard Katz, founding director of the EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research and author of “Scholars, Scholarship and the Scholarly Enterprise in the Digital Age,” will discuss harnessing technology for education, as part of Cal State Fullerton’s Technology Day. Media are welcome.

Background:
Katz served 14 years as vice president of EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit association to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. Previously, he held a variety of senior positions spanning 14 years at the University of California, including staffing the UC’s Improved Management Initiative. Now a consultant, Katz is based in Boulder, Colorado.
