The May 5 program will cover key decisions in financing needs, the importance of business planning and understanding how bankers see small businesses. DeMaranville and the other speakers will share resources and solutions to develop small business credit strategy. “Getting financed in the ‘new normal’ of 2010 requires small companies to think like the lender. Also, being prepared is a key ingredient,” said John B. Jackson, director of the university’s Center for Entrepreneurship.
