Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association Board Announced

Fountain Valley resident Tam T. Nguyen (M.B.A. ’05), president of Advance Beauty College Inc., has been named president of the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association Board of Directors for 2010-11. 
Joining him on the board are:
• Immediate past president — Verne Wagner (B.A. business administration-accounting ’77) of Fullerton

• Incoming president — Paul Carter (B.A. political science ’92) of Long Beach, partner, Bergkvist, Bergkvist & Carter

• Vice president, chapters & student outreach — Patty Azimi (B.A. business administration-marketing ’06) of Irvine, customer relationship management and web marketing specialist, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP

• Vice president, advocacy — Stacy Bradshaw (B.A. speech communication ’03, M.A. speech communication ’05) of Monrovia, Pacific Office Interiors

• Vice president, programs — Julie Espy (B.A. communications-journalism ’92) of Orange, manager, training and development, OC Transportation Authority

• Vice president, membership and marketing — Peter Hopkins (B.A. business administration-marketing ’84) of Placentia, strategic account manager, FedEx Services Division

• Vice president, finance — Monica J. Rebella (B.A. business administration-accounting ’83) of Dana Point, president, Rebella Accountancy

Hallie Yopp Slowik (B.A. psychology ’76, M.S. education – reading ’81) of Fullerton, professor of elementary and bilingual education, is the faculty representative.

The CSUF Alumni Association represents the university’s more than 200,000 graduates, with a mission of encouraging alumni pride in association with the university, developing alumni interest and involvement, and promoting personal advocacy and long-term support for and investment in CSUF, its people and its programs.
