Cal State Fullerton’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Mihaylo College of Business and Economics are co-sponsoring three lectures by University of Notre Dame’s Robert Audi, the David E. Gallo Professor of Business Ethics and professor of philosophy. All three campus lectures are open to the public free of charge.
Monday, Feb. 2
4-6 p.m. — “Moral Perception and Moral Knowledge” in Room 130 of the Pollak Library
Tuesday, Feb. 3
10-11 a.m. — “Business Ethics: Contemporary Challenges and Guiding Principles” in Room 3230 of Mihaylo Hall
3-4 p.m. — “Religious Beliefs and Democratic Pluralism: The Intersection of Religious Conviction and Political Choice” in Portola Pavilion of the Titan Student Union
Audi is the author of more than a dozen books, including “Business Ethics and Ethical Business,” published last year, and “Moral Value and Human Diversity” in 2007. He was editor of the first and second editions of the Cambridge Dictionary of Philosophy and of the Journal of Philosophical Research. He earned his master’s and doctorate from the University of Michigan and previously taught at the University of Texas at Austin and University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
