“A talent to recon with” hails The New York Times, and Musica Nova (Tokyo) calls pianist Eduardo Delgado’s performances “deeply emotional, as well as lyrical.” From his homeland of Argentina through Asia, Europe and the Americas, Delgado has performed repertoire from Bach to the composers of today, igniting audiences with the enthusiasm he imparts through his music.

In addition to solo recitals, Delgado has collaborated with numerous esteemed musicians in concerts and on recording projects, including pianists Martha Argerich and Alicia de Larrocha and tenor Jose Cura in a recording of Argentinean songs for ERATO Records. Other recordings include the complete solo piano music of Alberto Ginastera in two volumes (MA Records, Tokyo).

Delgado is the recipient of numerous awards and grants, including the Vladimir Horowitz Award and support from Mozarteum Argentino, Martha Baird Rockefeller Foundation and Concert Artists Guild. In 1999, Delgado was awarded the UNESCO of Buenos Aires Medal for his contribution as an ambassador of music by the city of Rosario, his hometown.

He is currently a member of Cal State Fullerton’s music faculty, where he has established a scholarship fund for talented pianists as a tribute to the renowned pianist Alicia de Larrocha. Proceeds from his concert will support this fund.
