Free Lecture at Cal State Fullerton's Irvine Campus

Who/What:

National “Not for Sale” campaign co-founder David Batstone will give a presentation — featuring video and live music — on global slavery and human trafficking. The Nov. 6 talk will be held at Cal State Fullerton’s Irvine Campus and followed the next day with a “Not for Sale” Southern California rally and training facilitated by Batstone.

When:

Batstone talk: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6
Rally and training: noon-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7

Background:

More than 27 million people are enslaved today, according to statistics from the “Not for Sale” campaign, which fights against global slavery and human trafficking. The presentation is the third in a series of annual Legacies programs that brings speakers to the CSUF Irvine Campus to discuss issues of social injustice and the individual spirit.

Cost:

Admission is free. Daily permits for on-campus parking are available for $5 per vehicle.
