Researcher Discusses How Using Cells Can Lead to Cures

Lawrence Goldstein, director of the stem cell research program and professor of cell and molecular medicine at UC San Diego, explains how human embryonic stem cells can lead to the treatment of Alzheimer’s, Lou Gehrig’s and Huntington’s diseases in “Harnessing Human Stem Cells to Fight Disease,” a public lecture Nov. 6 at Cal State Fullerton.
