Bat Night at Cal State Fullerton’s Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary mixes a lecture and tour about native bats with a barbecue and Halloween-type fun for the family, including pumpkin carving, face painting and wagon rides with story telling.

Admission and the lecture are free. Face painting and pumpkin carving are $2, wagon rides are $3, and the barbecue is $4. The proceeds benefit Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary.
Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is a 12-acre nonprofit nature preserve adjacent to Cleveland National Forest. It is owned and operated by California State University, Fullerton and its College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. In addition to serving as a research center for Cal State Fullerton students, faculty and others, Tucker includes a nature museum, a nature trail, a bird-observation point, a turtle pond and rescued animals. It is open to the public to observe and learn about the local wildlife and natural habitat. Hundreds of area students visit the site annually.
