Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido, who earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from CSUF in 1980, will introduce the Divas and deliver a “Querer es Poder” (If you have the desire, you can achieve) message. |

                      | Who: | The Mariachi Divas is an all-female band that plays mariachi music with a twist. Cindy Shea, a CSUF alumna, is the leader. The multicultural group, with 20 core members of Irish, Cuban, Swiss, Argentinean, Colombian, Panamanian, Puerto Rican, Samoan, Italian, Anglo and Mexican descent, incorporates jazz, salsa, cumbia, boleros and tangos, among other beats.
