As part of its yearlong 50th anniversary celebration, Cal State Fullerton will be the official sponsor of College Thursdays at the L.A. County Fair, running Sept. 7-30.

Students with college IDs from any institution of higher education will enjoy a discounted admission fee of $5 on all Thursdays —Sept. 13, 20, 27 — during the fair’s fun. Additionally, fairgoers and visitors to the fair website can purchase two-for-one tickets to CSUF Titan athletic events.

Evening performances by various student groups — including the Preeminents and reigning national champion CSUF Dance Team — on Thursday, Sept. 27, will showcase the university’s award-winning Theatre and Dance Department. Tuffy Titan, Cal State Fullerton’s mascot, will be among the featured ‘stars’ participating in the Mascot Mania parade at 5:30 p.m.

Cal State Fullerton, the second most populous campus in the state, draws students from Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, as well as Orange County. In fact, two Los Angeles high schools are among the top four feeder schools sending incoming freshmen to Cal State Fullerton.
