Volunteers needed for a special effort
to count the homeless in Orange County on January 25

Cal State Fullerton’s
Social Science Research Center (SSRC) is supporting an
effort to count and survey the homeless population in Orange
County, and more than 1,000 volunteers are needed.
Those who want
to volunteer are urged to sign up for duty by Friday, Dec. 15.

The SSRC is conducting
the Point-in-Time project in partnership with the County of Orange, 2-1-1 Orange
County and OC Partnership. This is the partnership’s second biennial
countywide homeless survey, or Point-in-Time count. The purpose of the count
