Come Halloween, Students Will Be Scaring Up Interest
For the Election With Mock ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ Debate

October 27, 2006 :: No. 57

What:

Cal State Fullerton will host a mock segment of  “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in which students will impersonate gubernatorial candidates Phil Angelides and Arnold Schwarzenegger and debate issues pertinent to the Nov. 7 statewide election.  

When:

Tuesday, Oct. 31
Noon-1 p.m.

When:

Quad on the Cal State Fullerton campus
800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, 92831   

Who:

Junior political science majors Curtis Schlaufman and Anthony Martinez will impersonate Schwarzenegger and Angelides, respectively. Angela Myers, a junior communications major, will play the part of DeGeneres and dance with members of the studio audience. 

Cost: Free and open to the public. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
