Screens October 24 - December 7 at Cal State Fullerton

What:

Cal State Fullerton is hosting “Moving Images: First Asian American International Film Festival” in an effort to promote global understanding through films by and about Asians and Asian Americans. Screenings are free and open to the public. All films will be preceded or followed by discussions led by CSUF faculty members.

Oct. 24, 4-7 p.m.: “The Myth” with Jinghui “Jack” Liu of the Modern Languages and
Literatures Department
Nov. 1, 4-7 p.m.: “To Live” with Lisa Tran, History Department
Nov. 7, 4-7 p.m.: “Charlotte Sometimes” with Eliza Noh, Asian American Studies
Nov. 15, 7-9 p.m.: “The Way Home” with Kristine Dennehy, History
Nov. 16, 8-10 p.m.: “Tokyo Godfather” with Meiko Shimura, Modern Languages and Literatures
Dec. 5, 4-7 p.m.: “Fobman” and “Fobman II” with Eliza Noh, Asian American Studies
Dec. 7, 4-7 p.m.: “The Rape of Nanking” with Jie Tian, Pollak Library

Where:

Cal State Fullerton’s Pollak Library, Rotary Club of Fullerton Room        

Sponsors:

CSUF’s Asian American Studies Program, Radio-TV-Film Department, Orange County Chapter of Organization of Chinese Americans and Pollak Library

Cost:

Screenings are free; daily visitor parking is $5 per vehicle.
