Left to TellRwandan Holocaust Through the Eyes of a Survivor

Immaculee Ilibagiza, author of “Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust” will discuss her personal story and sign copies of her book during a Sept. 28 presentation at the Cal State Fullerton Irvine Campus.

Additional:

The Rwandan native will recount what it was like in 1994, when she and seven other women spent 91 days hiding in a neighbor’s bathroom to avoid the violence that resulted in the deaths of members of their families. Four years after the massacres, Ilibagiza immigrated to the United States, where she eventually became a member of the United Nations Development Program and established the Left to Tell Charitable Fund.
