Local Wildlife Threats To Be Discussed May 5

What: Sixth annual "Animals in the Spotlight." The topic to be discussed at this free event is "In Our Own Backyard: Threats to Local Wildlife."
When:

Friday, May 5
6-8 p.m.

Where: Titan Student Union's Titan Theatre
Who: Russ Smith of the Los Angeles Zoo and Tia Heiberger of the Orange County Birds of Prey Center are the featured speakers. A red-tailed hawk and two owls will be in attendance, and the speakers will talk about the threats to their habitats.
Sponsor:

Anthropology Department and Roots and Shoots, a CSUF student chapter of an environmental organization founded by Jane Goodall.

Other: Organizers are encouraging families to attend with their children.
