Midyear Economic Forecast Slated April 18

What:

What does the future hold for employment, housing markets, retail sales? Economist Anil Puri, dean of Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics, will discuss these and other issues April 18 during the college’s annual “Midyear Economic Forecast.”

When:

Tuesday, April 18, 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Additional:

A panel discussion on the issues, needs and solutions for building the region’s professional workforce also is on the agenda. Among those scheduled to address “Building Orange County’s Human Capital” are: Eliot Gordon, senior client partner, Korn/Ferry International; Jack Milliken, vice president of administration, Toshiba America Information Systems Inc.; and Andrew Gill, CSUF professor of economics.

Cost:

Background: Dean of the College of Business and Economics since 1999, Puri is also executive vice president of the Western Economic Association International. In addition, he is a panel member for the National Association of Business Economists’ Survey of Economic Conditions. Co-director of the Institute for Economic and Environmental Studies, Puri has provided annual economic forecasts for 12 years and led a number of studies related to business in the Southern California Region.
