CSUF Powwow Celebration Set for March 18

March 9, 2006 :: No. 162

What: Authentic dancing, singing and cuisine will highlight a celebration of Native American culture at Cal State Fullerton’s Inter-Tribal Student Council Powwow.
When:

Saturday, March 18
11 a.m.-11 p.m.

Where:

Lawn adjacent to the Engineering and Computer Science complex
Cal State Fullerton
800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton, 92831           

More: Hundreds are expected to attend the event, which is open to the public free of charge. Activities include a dance competition and performances by bird singers. A variety of arts, crafts and food vendors will bring items for sale.
Parking: Parking for the event is free. Attendees can enter the university off Nutwood Avenue at Commonwealth and park in Lot E, near the Engineering and Computer Science complex on the east side of campus.
