Negotiation in Family Business Is
Subject of November Workshop

October 28, 2005 :: No. 62

What: Maria Marin, author of “Secrets of a Confident Woman” and recipient of the Latin Business Association’s honor as “Latina Entrepreneur of the Year 2004,” will discuss the art of negotiation during a Nov. 8 dinner workshop sponsored by Cal State Fullerton’s Family Business Council.
When: 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8

Additional: The Family Business Council, created in 1994 as part of the College of Business and Economics, is a partnership between the business community and the university. Its mission is to enhance the well-being and survivability of Southern California family businesses by providing opportunities for education, interaction and information tailored to the needs and concerns of business.
Upcoming: Future workshops include: “Applying the Seven Habits of Highly Effective CEOs” in December and “Family Wealth Transfer” in January.
