Oct. 18 Economic Forecast to Highlight County Issues and Trends
Conference will include a panel discussion on Orange County’s infrastructure and transportation issues.

What: Business leaders will gather next week to learn what to expect in the way of trends, issues and concerns in the coming year during the 2005 Cal State Fullerton/Orange County Business Council Economic Forecast Conference, “Growth Prospects and Emerging Issues for the O.C., Now and in the Future.”
When: 7:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18
Where: Hyatt Regency Irvine, 17900 Jamboree Road, Irvine
Speaker: Anil K. Puri, dean of Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics and co-director of the Institute for Economic and Environmental Studies, will be presenting his 11th annual forecast.
Additional: There will be a panel discussion on Orange County’s infrastructure and transportation issues. Panelists include: Stan Oftelie, president and chief executive officer, Orange County Business Council; Rosemary Turner, vice president, Southern California District, UPS; and Dan Young, executive vice president of entitlement and public affairs, Irvine Co.
Cost: $90 per person. Tables of 10 are available for $750 and $1,250. Reservations are required and can be made by
