"Ten Reasons Why Family Businesses Fail"

What: Family business owner Michael Hawkins of Green Street Restaurant in Pasadena joins Mindy Kaplan, president of Capital Resources & Consulting, to share best practices on how family businesses can achieve success, during an Oct. 12 Cal State Fullerton Family Business Council workshop.

Additional: The Family Business Council, created in 1994 as part of the College of Business and Economics, is a partnership between the business community and the university. Its mission is to enhance the well-being and survivability of Southern California family businesses by providing opportunities for education, interaction and information tailored to the needs and concerns of business.
Cost: Free to first-time family business attendees interested in becoming a member of the Family Business Council. Reservations are required and can be made by calling
